Ph.D. - Louisiana State University
B.Eng. - University of Strathclyde

I earned my Ph.D. studying colloid science and soft matter at Louisiana State University. As a Fellow of the Center for the Physics of Biological Function, at Princeton University, I study the dynamics of bacteria and plant roots via direct imaging in engineered transparent soils.

Combining interfacial sciences and microbial biophysics, I plan to investigate soil processes within key niches such as the rhizosphere and the plastisphere. My goal is to bridge the gap between the physical, chemical, and biological underpinnings of soil, and engineering applications in environmental remediation, agricultural sustainability, and climate change mitigation.
